Meet the Photographer

Hi there! My name is Melani. Pronounced Melanie, just without the "e" in case you were wondering. I am beyond excited you're interested in learning more about me, and the services I provide.

I'm a mom of three little humans named Kema, Kody & Maverick. I was born and raised in Durham, NC. This is where the magic happens in my studio for sessions.

I started Melani J. Photography 5 years ago. Specializing in newborn photography. I could not have imagined it would grow into the business it is now. I have been blessed to have photographed at least 200 little humans and families over the years.
